Tough, fun game guys, and believe me, Ute fans know we squeaked past a better team. We will be pulling for you in March and please beat Kentucky.

Really tough game and looking forward to the rematch. The Austrian kid is a fricking load. Doubt he makes the return visit next year though.

We needed to establish DC early in the second half... Which is hard to do when he is sitting on the bench and subsequently getting iced out for another six minutes.

We really need something from our bigs offensively. This team can only be so good when the other teams defense can ignore our post players.

Story of the evening.. We have to develop our bigs. I have 100% faith in HC3GM and his staff to get this done. I would expect the boys to get a little chewing for the way the second half started, but they showed heart by digging down and getting back in the game. Time for some free throw practice

The difference in the game, came in back-to-back possessions:

1) Ron missed dunk
2) Luckiest bounce in three ever.

Going forward, DC has got to stay out of foul trouble, and HCGM needs to have "the talk" with Evan about being more of a threat on offense. With Evan on the floor it is 4 on 5 offensively. With DC riding the pine with foul trouble we are down to three. Fred has another night like this one, we have another night like tonight.

We need to get Shaq, Rashard, and Rauno more involved offensively also, but that will take time...

Shaq has made improvements.. but boy is he gonna hear it while watching tape. That was some of the weakest rebounding I've ever seen from a Marshall-coached team.

Man, if it weren't for that comeback I'd be singing a different tune. But the way they played during that failed comeback made me feel better. That said, this has to have been Fred's worst game in a shocker uniform. And our new guys have a ton of work to do, which isn't really a surprise. Gawd I need a drink.

Man, I'll be watching that ill-fated Wessel putback in my mind until my body finally lets me sleep 2 hours from now. Ugh! Pretty salty work by Wessel there at the end otherwise.

Hell of a game. Plenty to be proud about in the last 10 minutes of game time. We knew this one was gonna be a push, and sooner or later it's inevitable you'll fall on the wrong side of one of those. We still have an amazing team, a future HOF coach, and a great season yet in front of us; and it is still great to be a Shocker!
