Speaking of hotties....lol.....last year or the year before (can't remember)....I mentioned on this very site that a lot of the guy students SHOULD bring their girlfriends to the next upcoming TV game to show the world YES....Kansas does HAVE HOTTIES too!!!! It surprisingly worked as there were a LOT more chick-adee-chica's down front in the student section that particular game. AZ Shocker was very pleased and thought it made Wichita St. look really GREAT on TV!!!! FWIW.....AZ Shocker remembers tons of nice lookin' females on campus many moons ago. I would assume there still are a good many on campus these days. So BRING 'em fella's....it's always a good thing to see the ladies on the ole' boob-tube...I mean television!!! :)

As I sit here sipping my beer, watching OU/ORU in Norman and the seats are at 10% full, I am grateful to be a Shocks fan. That is an embarrassment!

the last game that i remember that dickie v called at wichita state, in the 80's, the shockers lost.

the last game he called involving wichita state, period, was vs louisville in the final four. he was all in for his fellow paisan, rick pitino.

nothing against dickie v, but DO NOT expect good luck, young superstitious types, just because he is calling the game here. he's hardly been a shocker good-luck charm (in spite of his noble pediatric cancer battle/fight! son of a bitches!). it might be something we have to overcome.
