Growing up in Wichita I remember all the local stations were based out of Wichita because Wichita was the BIGGEST city in Kansas back when I lived there. I didn't think the small towns in Kansas had their own News stations.

No more Martin Umansky' s at KAKE. They're all owned corporately. KWCH has usually done the best, probably because of management.

Back to the original subject, I can honestly say I have never been to the EB out West, and after what I've heard I have no desire to. Nor have I tried Deano's, Fox and Hound I was at once, and I wasn't very impressed. I'm with InWuWeTrust, my top places to go are BWW and Old Chicago, I usually get good service at any of them.

I'm sure BWW and OC are good options, but I like to try and spend my money locally when it comes to supporting the Shockers. If I'm out watching a game, I'll go to a local place like Mulligans or Larry Buds instead of a chain. If I'm going to buy shirts or gifts, I'll go to Tad's instead of someplace like Academy Sports. These places support the Shockers, so I support them.

Speaking of this, I never support the Kansas Sampler That place is like Shrine to the Chickenhawks...and on their commercial that plays in WICHITA they advertise Cheifs, Royals, Mizzou (all three are Missouri teams) KU, KState, and other Regional schools. (Group us with Pitt St.)...Might as well be the KU Store 2.0

Uh, in case you didn't notice, somebody else responded to you as well, with a bit more derogatory post. Dont worry. I promise you if anybody else posted what you posted, I would've called them out on it too. So don't feel too special.

Jenn Bates' boobs and slightly less than mediocre face doesn't make up for the complete lack of understanding of WSU and college athletics in general. Nether does Dani, leading her sports off with freaking Billy Butler and KU getting blasted in a game that wasn't even over yet.

I told my assistant to boycott the West Emerson Biggins after reading this, she said she had the same thing happen last year at the downtown Emerson Biggins (leaving KU on vs. WSU) So boycott all Emerson Biggins.
