Mr. Baker is not only a maker, but a bad-bad boy. FVV and Cotton were stealing them blind tonight. 3G will address the excess fouling but I loved our
high octane energy level!!!
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

high level is what i saw too. maybe not 100% perfect.. but..
What is scary is the NMSU is a pretty good team; they have athletes, NCAA experience, and will probably finish 1st in the WAC. We shot as cold as you can shoot (0-11 3PT, 9-16 FT) and lost the rebounding battle early and STILL dominated a very talented and experienced team. And the newcomers weren't intimidated at all by the spotlight. What happens when we shoot the ball like we are capable of, play that type of defense, and our newcomers get some minutes under their belts?
UMKC 69 Missouri 61, UMKC wins on the road. Que meltdown in Columbia, Full meltdown, feel like going to Tigerboard and asking them how did they do
UMKC's coach came from Louisville... they are in the same league as NMSU if I am not mistaken. Might have to watch them more carefully this year... As for Mizzou - way to represent the SEC... meow....
The Kangaroos last beat a power conference team in December 2003 (Kansas State) and haven't finished above .500 in a season since 2004-05.
TIP-INS
Missouri-Kansas City: The upset provided the signature win for second-year coach Kareem Richardson, who helped Louisville win the national championship in 2013 as an assistant for Rick Pitino. UMKC also received a big boost of confidence after being picked to finish fifth in the preseason WAC media poll.
Missouri: A scattering of boos rained down at the final buzzer from an announced attendance of 7,014. . Jakeenan Gant sat out after the school issued a release shortly before tip-off saying the freshman would be "withheld from competition as a result of a review regarding his eligibility."
there were a few people here holding the door open for Shaq ready to escort him out. Funny how one game can change things.
marshall is a players coach, in spite of the fire we (and shaq) see from him. shaq will play.. a lot.. coach will get on his case.. and he'll still play a lot.

Plus, Shaq had his big game when it actually counted. We got all excited about the other guys at a scrimmage and an exhibition game. Shaq tore it up and led all those guys when we were facing a good team on the actual schedule. Good stuff
