Lots of positives, second half defense want really one of them. Shaq...very encouraging. Can't hit from 3, but didn't need to. Hope for a strong finish

i watched the first half, but whats with the large amount of fouls on wsu?

Obviously a bit can be contributed to lots of young/new guys playing but it seems to be quite a bit higher than normal wsu?

The two things I'll never worry about with a player in Marshall's system are defense and rebounding.

Marshall will get that cleaned up fast.

When you look at the individual rebounds in the box score for this game it's hilarious. 7 deep, everyone is about tied for 5 rebounds. Marshall Plan.

He does that....and he will be in the league no question. I still see him as a Steve Nash type player...but I do think Steve was a wee bit taller.

Whoa nellie!!!! I'm 63 years old and that is by far the most depth of talent I've seen in my life for the Shockers. I was worried about the interior with all we lost to graduation. I'm not anymore. We've got some really good freshmen big men. Hard to believe how good they looked for freshmen. Freshmen big men usually take a long time to develop, but they are really ahead of the learning curve. It might just be, that we will be better than last year by March.

Terrible three point shooting and bad FT shooting. And we still could have won by 20+. Reminded me of the Pitt game, except we were able to hit FTs in that one while winning easily.

This team is far better from day one than I would have hoped with all of these newcomers. Marshall's created a self-perpetuating monster now with the culture he's developed.

Looks like Fred tied the record for steals tonight. Quite a showing all around. Feel very good about Tuesday and onward. There isn't a game all season (or in any tournament) that we can't win.

Our beloved Shocks had more dunks than the local doughnut parlor. Dunks equal solid field goal %. 21st and Hillside is the land of Cotton. As we all understand,
Cotton will have a solid Senior Season. Last Season at the practice the public attended, Shaq could not keep up. Tonight, we witnessed him racing down the court with the follow-up dunk. His upside is scary good. Kelly has a motor that will result in some very nice positive results this very Season. This was a solid team we beat and our D was so stingy. What? No 3's? Subgod22 or any of us are worried. When they start falling, and believe me, we will rain down plenty of 3's, watch
out.

Our Defense will lead us to many wins and will produce more offense.. Our quality depth will come in very handy. Look how good our Freshmen and Redshirts look already. I like it!!! I like it like I do when we are raining down 3's but also scoring inside where we prevailed tonight. Inside--then outside.
