  • Not that they're playing, but I just happened to notice that NJIT, who won at Michigan earlier this year in an earthquake of an upset, is now 15-10 after winning 10 of 11. Michigan, meanwhile, is 13-11.

What would the odds have been at the beginning of the season on the Highlanders finishing the first full week of February with a better record than The Michigan Men? Amazing, schedule strength notwithstanding.

    • "In case you missed it, you can exchange your Wichita State tickets for another home game this season. This was because Quick Change didn't perform."

Wow. People aren't even showing up to see WSU and a potential upset any more. They are literally more interested in the halftime entertainment.

I did miss that. Which school was making that offer?

          • BTW, speaking of halftime shows the Shockers booked the Basketball Juggler, Josh Horton this weekend. I don't know if they thought they could squeeze it in during the halftime or if someone got their signals crossed and unknowingly booked him on the weekend they were honoring the 1964-65 Final Four team. More than likely the latter. Probably focused on a weekend when both the men and women were playing home games and failed to check from conflicts.

He performed a small part of his act during one of the 2nd half media timeouts. He did perform his full act on Sunday at the Shocker women game. Very entertaining act.

Here is his web page: http://www.halftimejuggler.com/Home.html.

This kid will be making a lot of money. Obviously, you're not going to bump the 1964-65 team for any act, but I hope they bring him back next year. I think Shocker fans would enjoy the act.

You mean they are losing to a team that lost to Creighton? How can that be?
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

              • OU is actually playing some of their best basketball of late, I think they've won 5 in a row. When they hit the 3-ball they are pretty scary, but they don't really play consistent defense or rebound with any regularity, so they can be vunerable when not shooting well...

That's a shame. What little we did get looked really impressive.

It was on the Bradley board. Apparently not a tiny number of people got up and left when they announced that Quick Change wouldn't be performing at halftime. Yikes.

Quick Change must have been preoccupied at the many pornographic and firework megastores and forgot they had to perform in Spring Vegas.

Is it your good luck charm to post worried comments in this thread? Kentucky has got this one...

I'm with you, Kentucky will clearly turn up the defense in the second half and pull away.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.
