Marymount is not a bad team. They were ahead of Stanford at half and only lost by 9. We shot and played well Monday. It shows what we are capable of. However, last night shows that our margin of error isn't what it was last year.

Margin of error not as great, breaking in a bunch of freshmen, much tougher noncon schedule, top half of the Valley appears to be much stronger, still seemingly every one's superbowl. As @WuDrWu: noted "it's fun". Enjoy.

Loyola darn near entered the top 50 with their wins over Texas Tech and Boise St.

They showed up big time in non cnference this season. That was a huge unexpected help. Being in the 50s range might even be high enough to stay 50-100ish once the MVC RPI grenades start hitting.

Take care of business Saturday, and I think we could move up at least two spots, 9 and 10 going down out of the mighty biG 12. Didnt marymount give stanford fits, who beats texas on their court. WSU hammers marymount...hard to compare scores but this is pretty significant.

Our game vs GWU is Christmas at 7:30 CST, not Saturday. Just don't want you to miss it.

Nice win for Loyola.

Yet another football score! Boise gave up 46 at Nevada and 49 at New Mexico, so Loyola should right into a non P5 football conference.

Seriously, what's up with some of these really low scores lately? Gotta hand it to the Ramblers, though -- they're off to a nice start. They SHOULD be a good addition to the Valley; let's see how it plays out.
