They are back. Two starting guards were suspended for two or three games. Gia is the only coach not to bring in a JUCO. He instead got some good freshman guards and a couple of skilled bigs that need to put on some weight. Last, he added two transfers from P5 conferences. They'll be eligible next year to go along with another good recruiting class.

They won't be as bad next year, but unlikely to be good. He's building to three years from now. I hope he builds well and has an opportunity to see it through.

Nebraska is not good. They have no offense at all. Creighton is also bad but was able to play some solid suburban HORSE to mask their deficiencies.

What you witnessed right there was a solid NIT matchup IMO.

HCGM cannot catch a break on the schedule. In a year with Memphis on a neutral, St Louis at IBA and Colorado/Nebraska, all of them seem to be underachieving compared to what they looked like coming into 2014-15. Meanwhile the MVC is still down in the bottom half and the top half only includes WSU and UNI. :) well maybe evansville too...

I really hope UNI and seton hall break into the rankings tomorrow.
