I saw him this summer. He looked more like a road grader, mauling, NFL guard than a basketball player.
If he can get up and down the court and give some dominating minutes inside while doing so, I'd take that.

If you want live help, and you're east, I'd suggest going to Gentry. I'll bet they have someone who knows how to tie a bowtie. We also have a couple of guys at my church who wear real bowties, but they're probably not as readily available as Gentry is.

9:50 on how to tie a bow tie.
Alton Brown also has a lesson on YouTube, but he goes at a much quicker pace.

Yep. Did really well for a few years. Took up lot of space and rebounded well. BUT he's biggest asset was his tremendous passing abilities for a big man.

I just noticed that Tekele Cotton was listed at 209 last season, and he's listed at 200 for this upcoming season. What does that mean? Maybe he didn't feel like he got up high enough in some of his posterizers.

If Shaq is truly heavier now than he was last year, he either was backsliding over the summer and in huge trouble with HCGM over his lazy conditioning or he was diligently working out and is now the biggest, strongest player I've seen in 10 years of watching Shocker basketball at 275 and ripped. A lot of guys put on weight when they lift. His heavier physique might actually be something worth celebrating if it's all strength and his game is better than ever.

Based on all the pics I've seen of Shaq, he does not have much fat on him. Some guys just have thicker frames, but he still doesn't look 275.

Strong and explosive. That's all that matters. Kid has quick elevation off of two feet.

The other question is will his emotions get in the way? Shaq seems to be one of the most emotional players we've had in a long time.

I love seeing emotion if it is channeled in the right way. On the other hand I love seeing the calm, cool collected poker-face of Tekele just as much.

That is what made his poster dunk at Illinois State so cool. He just ran down to the other end of the court, like "Yeah, I expected to do that."

In regards to this, I don't remember a kid that lasted a year for Gregg Marshall that wasn't able to channel the emotion. Gregg seems to know how to get just the right amount out of a player. One of, if not his greatest talent, imo.
