The summer league will be highlighted by second-round pick Cleanthony Early of Wichita State, who the Knicks thought would go in the mid- to late first round. He has been called the steal of the second round by many experts, and the Knicks believe he’ll thrive in the triangle offense.

and one really bad miss. Has had pretty good stats for both games. Keep this up and he will get a decent contract.

It was a tough miss that he took too much crap for, imho, especially from THJ who refused to pass the ball twice earlier in the game when Cle could have finished dunks (hey Jr. might want to watch some FVV highlights, jackass) then received a great dish FROM Cle for a big open 3 that helped them get in a position to win.

Cle so belongs in the league it's not even funny.

The Knicks look like one of the best summer league teams (partially because they actually play NBA level players). Still, Hardaway seems to think he is Kobe. I'd like to see Early get more touches, as he's done a good job of actually playing team basketball (one of the few in the summer league not looking for personal glory). You can actually see Marshall's coaching influence on almost every play Early makes.

                I agree.

Hardaway can play, but all he does on offense is shoot. Plus, Cle had more assist and rebounds then THJR.

At least Cle is learning how it is going to be to play with Melo.

So happy to see Cle doing well. Laughing @ the Rockets, where Cle was projected to go. They wasted their first round draft pick AND traded Jeremy Lin away hoping to land Chris Bosch, who stood them up AGAIN.

Makes the Rockets GM look like an idiot. He should have drafted Cle.

Cle has signed a long-term contract with the Knicks! https://twitter.com/nyknicks/status/495280551696543746

Not sure the details of the contract yet.

                        Not surprised! Good for Cle!
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

As reported from ESPNNewYork the most Cleanthony would be able to receive is a 2-year contract worth the minimum salary, due to New York's roster restrictions. Cle' would make $507,336 in year 1 and $845,059 in year 2. http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/kni...eanthony-early

Also says Toure might potentially re-sign with the Knicks!

Hopefully Toure latches on with someone, anyone ASAP- watching him and Cle together on the Knicks would be pretty badass though. I guess that's where I hope he signs simply for that reason.

Plus if that doesn't help with NYC recruiting I don't know what will.

We've also got Ramon Clemente on that front. Our New York linkage is surprisingly good for being all the way over here in Wichita.
