    The SASO renewals went out a few weeks ago, I know that. It took a nice bite out of my wallet. And since SASO donations are basically the license to buy a season ticket, you can make some assumptions.
    So if I am not a season ticket holder, but am considering becoming one, I should act immediately?

        @ShockerFever: and @1972Shocker:

        Watch where you tread, questioning who are "real fans" and "dieharders."

        It is a very slippery slope.

        Butts in seats matters far more for games and tourneys. Keep in mind this event used to be a banquet held in the practice gym, if i am correct. There is clearly an increase desire to celebrate this past season when compared to those previously.
        You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

        .....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

Whether it counts more or less than something else isn't the issue. It counts and it was an opportunity to make it count big. It was a missed opporutuntity for Shocker Nation to send Coach Marshall a huge message.
          Yeah, I understand. Sometimes my wife gets upset and insecure when I tell her "I love you" only five times a day instead of ten.

            Must admit I found Steve Forbes to be quite humorous
            I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

              I'll try to keep that in mind. By the way immediately following the season I exchanged e-mails with Eric Sexton that they consider doing something like this so that more fans could participate. However, I have to be honest I was thinking it would probably generate much more interest and support that it did. That is all.

                I am glad that they started to do this. For me it's a nice bookend to the season, my emotions are settled, I can appreciate the season and celebrate the individual accomplishments that our players earned. If you didn't make it out please try to next season. Marshall mentioned that he was happy with the turnout, and that's good enough for me. Mr. Glass was in attendance seated in the roped off lower/center section. Having the seniors speak about what the program and coaches have done for them in their two years here has to resonate with a potential Juco recruit. The videos were excellent. I am still impressed at the striped black and gold Koch Arena pictures, what a fun day and amazing sight. Marshall looked like he was having fun and was relaxed. When Dancin' Don was reading off all of the Coach of the Year awards Marshall has won, I'll admit I had a little lump in my throat for how special he is and what he has done for our program. The same can be said about Cleanthony, as they read out his awards and accomplishments over his two years I looked at the Shocker greats hanging in the rafters, he belongs immortalized with them.

                  Obviously Mr. Glass was impressed enough to sign the morning after the event.
