I like to read way too much into things. If you read shockwaves where it says he has some ideas but isn't quite ready, while also saying that he is still open to another signing if the right guy comes along, it makes me wonder if he is trying to pull a stunt. As in, maybe there could be an assistant plus a player following that assistant?

coach was quoted the other day as having a couple guys on the short list and he'll have a guy in place before summer sessions start, which is June. Could be another 2-3 weeks.

I also really liked knowing that he said "there's no urgency" and that we would have someone in place by the time summer sessions start. I like to read into that by concluding it means he doesn't feel any pressure or fear that the loss of Jans will cause him to have any issues. In other words, he is still confident.
