Louisville fan here. Good luck to you guys in a really rough bracket. I'd say they stuck it to both you and us, but I love your attitude. Let the best team get through this thing.

First, I know your team is steely tough. Kentucky isn't. They have a false bravado and if you guys do your thing, they will buckle. You guys protect the paint, which will take Randle out of it. They are streak shooters, but have no heart. I hope you really stick it to them. We lost to them at Rupp this year. That was before we got our stuff together with our new guys and before we got our "D" sorted out. Kentucky has no coach. He is the great pretender. Marshall will have your guys prepared. Be prepared for all the idiot UK fans to try to flame on your board. They are the worst fan base in the country.

As for our game with you guys, that is a ways away and we both have work to do. Don't know too much about St. Louis and N.C. State, but it looks like St. Louis has all the "D" and N.C. State has all the offense. Would not be surprised if we ended up laying Xavier in our second game. What can you guys tell us about either of St. Louis ad KS?

It will be a great tournament. Wish the idiots would have put us in separate brackets.

Cuttyhunk, you are so correct UK is absolutely beneath UL. "Our" fans are idiots and UL fans outnumber us 3 to 1. UL is considered the state of Kentucky's premiere program and the most tradition rich program of all time. Rick Pitino is an outstanding family man and one the most high integrity coaches of all time. The schedule UK played was weak and the computers that stated UL's schedule was rated 100 is rigged. WS will crush the heartless Cats since they got lucky and defeated only ONE legit team all year this season which happened to be UL. WS will crush UK's selfish play (note: Russ Smith is considered the most unselfish player in the game) and UL and WS will meet and likely play in the greatest of college game in college history and remove that title from the Duke vs UK '92 tourney game.

Good luck to WS. I for one loved your tourney run last year. And I hope we are being overlooked as you guys seem to be looking more toward UL than us.

St. Louis is all defense, you have that right. They are a bump and grind style team. The Billikens generate some turnovers, but are more about wearing you out and making you take bad shots. Definitely want to play mainly a half court game.

Their main guy is Jordair Jett. He runs point and is more about strength than speed. He's a stocky fella and drive-focused. Their other top scorer is Dwayne Evans. He gave us the most trouble when we played them, but our front court was still pretty green then.

I would imagine your overall team speed will give them some trouble, but that doesn't mean you want to sleep on them. They are used to pressing teams since they share a conference with VCU, so Pitino might need to play with his pressure some to affect them.

Actually, we do like other fans coming to our boards sharing information in an unlike-troll manner. It's college basketball. Love the game. I do not like it when trolls get totally disrespectful and say nothing intelligent nor constructive. I happen to enjoy watching WS style of play. Maybe not representative of the entire fanbase, but speaking for myself, I'll give that an A- for a brazen display of douchiness. Taking the time to sign up for another team's message board, just to use the first post continuing a pissing match with a rival's fan that has zero to do with the team whose board you signed up for. Bravo! :stupid: If not for the token comment at the end, and trying to fit WSU in as part of your flame war, that's A+ material all around.

As for hoping you're being overlooked, just go ahead and keep on thinking that. By saying that, it's crystal clear that you don't know a damn thing about this team.

I actually do know quite a bit about the Shockers and rooted for them as much as I could while on the path to a perfect regular season. Barker is one my favorite players. Note I stated I hope you guys, knowing your coach and players will NOT overlook UK. It's a game they will relish.
