Wichita State. 8
Ohio. 66
Hawaii. 151
DePaul. 141
That is a good tourney. If you ignore the name on the front of the jersey, it really looks pretty solid. There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Pointless post. Whatever those teams do this year means nothing for next year.
Or so im told :)

Originally posted by shocks771 View PostBefore we can say this is a good or bad tournament we need to analyze who all of these teams have coming back. I haven't took the time to do that yet but I think we all can agree that a lot can change year over year. Unfortunately this tournament isn't one that WSU will get a lot of credit for winning even if we are able to do that next year. I always hope to see at least two other Top 20-40 programs in the pre-season tournaments that WSU plays in and unfortunately this will be three years in a row without that happening.
DePaul's top 2 scorers are seniors, but not losing much else
Doesn't look like any of Colorado's 4 seniors contribute much more than 3-4 minutes/game
Nebraska's 2 seniors combine for less than 8 pts/game
2 of GW's top 3 scorers are seniors, but they have 5 guys total averaging in double figures
Hawaii's 1st, 4th, and 7th highest scorers are their 3 seniors
So overall it's kind of a mixed bag as to what the different teams are losing. Impossible to tell what else could change between now and the start of next year in terms of transfers, injuries, coaching changes, etc.
