Is Adams t retiring or something? It sounds more final than last trip of the year.
I loved Adams in previous years when relatively few talking heads praised the Shox. Now with all the attention I find him sometimes over the top. But clearly a great guy and a lot of insight into the game.Shocker Nation, NYC

Seth Davis:
Missouri State (19-10) at No. 2 Wichita State (30-0)
Saturday, 2 p.m., ESPN
When these two tangled in Springfield back on Jan. 11, Wichita State had to overcome an 18-point halftime deficit to prevail in overtime by three. The Shockers shot the ball horribly that night, but the came back because of their defense. Playing in a friendly environment with familiar rims, I'm guessing they won't need the theatrics again.

Place should be rocking from start to finish. I'm really looking forward to the atmosphere, as well as watching the seniors in their last home game. I don't think we are going to have a repeat of Evansville last year. History is going to be made tomorrow, and I'm excited and honored to be a part of it.
The only prediction I'll make is that Cle has a monster game, oh... and that Southwest Missouri will still not be a state after the game is over.

So is someone finally going to break out a Canadian flag at the game? I have not seen one during the last two years and with two of our Northern friends being seniors I thought it would be nice to honor them in that way. If no one is then I may have to try and find one.

To answer Royal's question CBSsports helped us squire the tickets through local affiliate. Originally we received 36 tickets and just this week recieved another 3. Our trip originally priced at $50 was for ticket and bus ride, through the help of a couple resteraunts and local limousine company the final price was $25. The other bus is the MSU Student Section Maroon Madness is bringing 50 students. As to how they acquired tickets I am not sure. They were selling trips for $10 which included ticket and bus ride. Look forward to a good time tomorrow and would love to see a win but won't hold my breath.

My how things COULD have been different. The Shox were down 18 points at the half when these two teams met on January 11th, so long ago. They were still down by 19 at the 11:48 mark as they tried to claw their way back into contention. These guys could've packed it in that night and thought this just wasn't going to be their night, this is where the winning streak ends..... How would this last game of the regular season look? Would we have lost 1 or 2 other games maybe? Would the media spotlight be shining as brightly? Would there have been a trip to Bristol for HCGM and company? Hard to know. What I do know is, this team did not roll over, they did not point fingers or have a scared look in their eyes. No, that look in their eyes was one of determination, Mental Toughness, Extra Effort. They hit a 3ball, forced some turnovers, made FTs, hit another 3ball and before you knew it, they had the deficit down to 5 with 7:20 to go. Simply amazing. They battled back and took the game into overtime where they eventually wore MoSt down and came away victorious. It shows what confidence and NOT quitting is all about. I like that in this team. Unfortunately, others don't quite get that intangible aspect of our Shockers.
If we had lost that game it would've been a bitter pill to swallow. Looking back at this season with that one lone loss keeping us from what we have today, 30-0 and all the accolades that come with it. This season has been a blur, it's been a blast, it's been dizzying, amazing and oh so memorable. How cool. This season will be that benchmark that we look back at years down the road. I would like to say I'm happy, fulfilled, content maybe even satiated .... but you know what, I'm certainly not satisfied, not yet. Coach Marshall said it best, (he was prophetic) his one word for the season, "appreciate". I know I certainly do. I hope I walk away from the Roundhouse with my ears ringing come tomorrow afternoon, more than they normally do. People tell me hearing aids aren't so bad. Let's get LOUD!
