I love how Doug went to the "I've been covering basketball for 10 years, and played for 4, therefore I know more than the guy who's spent his life in Wichita" argument with Lutz.

I'm sure Lutz was bloviating before DG was born.

I think it is about time for Shocker fans to tweet @ KFH and let them know we aren't going to bother listening to his show anymore. I don't think anyone would care if he was off the air in Wichita.

What happened to your DG ultimatum?

.....you don't wanna go to war with the Shockers.......

I've thought this for a while. Why support his garbage in Wichita if he wants to take this ridiculous stance. He's a mental midget and yet we keep him on air. Doesn't make sense.

It was funny seeing Kellen Marshall, Jeff Lutz, and Sean Kennedy discussing the interview on Twitter. Blood is thicker than garbage from Gottlieb's mouth I guess

                      Charming guy.

Probably the first time in my career I've been called a homer. Ah, what the hell: GO TEAM, GO!!

That felt like a trip to the principal's office. Had a few of those.

Don't take things so seriously. My god.

Cracking up at how DG can take something so personally while his "attacks" are just laughed off by Bob

Perhaps DG should discuss this year's version of the Shocks vs last year's version with Drake Coach Ray Giacoletti. Coach G was an assistant for Gonzaqa last year. Coach G is of the considered opinion that this year's team is better. I leave it to you to decide whose opinion is more educated.

                          • I'm not sure I want DG off the air in Wichita. When WSU wins the NC and FVV is voted most valuable player in the tournament, I really look forward to hearing the interview Doug does with Fred and Gregg.

Perhaps that misperception is why all of the teams we played in the NCAA Tournament last year said they were taken off-guard by our athleticism. Oh well, I certainly hope that misperception continues, but I doubt that it will by anyone of any significance (like opposing coaching staffs or instance).

I am pretty sure that coaches hang on Doug's every word. Just ask him.
