This team's ceiling is the Sweet 16. Our 3 point FG percentage is abysmal, our overall FG percentage is barely average, we lack QUALITY depth, our post play is inconsistent, Colbey averages more personal fouls per game than points it seems, we're not terribly athletic and susceptible to teams who are, we're prone to sleep walking for a half and come tourney time, good teams will make us pay for doing just that. We haven't been tested since December and we'll be exposed for it. And lastly, we are a FVV, RB or CE injury away from our season tanking.

Now, we all know the tourney is all about match ups and upsets that end up benefitting you. After selection Sunday, I will throw out my official tourney prediction. This is just an appetizer. :)
Vegas current odds for WSU to win it all: 10:1 (9.1%).
Odds of winning the Powerball: 1:175,223,510 (0.0000005%)

I'm no mathematician, but something tells me you are wrong.

Anyone else think they are going to have to do some further redecorating of the locker rooms? :)

What were your odds of WSU going to the Final Four last February?

        You're real. Real annoying alright.

When you get older, and if we're all lucky wiser, you're gonna look back at all of this and wish you enjoyed the moments more and worried less about picking apart WSU's best run EVER like it's your full-time job. You're a pretty apathetic WSU fan.

I'm consistently confused on whether you're a complete troll or the single biggest self-hating sports fan I've ever seen.

KC will not respond to that post.

While @ KC Shox comes across as d-bag here, I'll take the levity.
I dont agree, but in this scenario WSU can overcome the nay sayers while pleasing the die-yards. A balanced team as well as a balanced fan base.

There is a serious possibility you have a better change of an are growing out of your a$$, then winning the Powerball.

And if you had to ask me, I don't know which one I would pick. ;)

While you do make a good amount of fair points. Other teams have gaping weaknesses as well.

I'm not concerned about our offense in the tournament. It's our defense that has been mediocre by recent standards in the past 5 or so games.

I wonder about that. It seems like there's always been a close relation to our points per possession numbers increasing with our points per possession allowed numbers. In those cases, are we scoring more because our opponents are scoring more, are our opponents scoring more because we're scoring more, or are we playing more lax defense to score more?

5 of our worst 9 points per possession allowed games have been in February. But four of our nine best on offense have also been in February.

But by the selection Sunday, the Shox are undefeated, when you self impose from posting

KC Shox, thanks for listing all of the Shockers weaknesses so succinctly, clear explanation of why the Shockers have won the games they won and lost the games they lost. Clearly that other poster talking about the "it" factor has his head in rectum in defilade.

Wow, I know @KCShox: gets on some people's nerves with his glass half empty approach, but if after reading the line about the lottery you couldn't detect the sarcasm them there is no helping you.

I think he's just trying to keep the reverse jinx from affecting the team. Similar to a certain legendary thread from last season.

                              Everyone take a deep breath.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

Last year, Louisville looked unbeatable coming into the tournament. They continued to look unbeatable in the tournament until they played the Shox. Gregg Marshall is the best coach in the country at strategizing. This year when everyone in the country looks beatable and had flaws? I like our chances.
