  • WSU VERSUS SIU PREDICTIONS AND PREGAME DISCUSSIONS

Here's the deal. Home-su-weet home again here at 21st and Hillside against an improved team whom are well-coached that nobody better take lightly. Our beloved Shocks, as always, will respect them by preparing properly and will be primed and ready to play angry and execute our game plan to reach 26-0 and 13-0. We are Not satisfied.

    WSU-- 74

    SIU--- 59
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

Thankfully, SIU is finally looking like they are on track. This is not small news. It is absolutely huge that Barry is doing well lately.

It wasn't but maybe a month ago that we were afraid he would lose his team. If you go back to the "rant" and look at their record since, it is a beautiful thing.

Comparative Stats from StatSheet - All games

"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

To clarify, SIU was something like 4-11 on January 5th.

They are 6-4 since, with a highlight win over Indy St. and are currently 10-15. Not a juggernaut or anything, but mildly similar to the season we finished 17-17 if they stay on this course.

The games they are winning, they're completely dominating the other team. Really fun turnaround for them.

We really need this. I would much rather see a revived rivalry with the salukis than have to listen to the Redbirds "declare" that we have a rivalry just because we are good and they want to be good

We won by 15 at their place. We really should win by 30 plus, but GM is very interested in resting his guys now. We'll probably get out to huge lead and he'll pull the starters. We'll probably win by 15 again.

If you did not attend the Shocker Women's game today you missed one of the highlights of this year's basketball season. A rendition of the National Anthem sung by a young lady named Maya. I did not catch Maya's last name but her performance was simply outstanding. I really hope they bring Maya back to sing the Anthem at a Men's game. Trust me you will not be disappointed. BTW, Maya looked to be about 7 years old, 8 tops.

I don't see us blowing this team out this time. Barry has them looking a lot better. However, I see us winning by 13 or so. And it won't be a result of us putting in the scrubs in the final 3 minutes.
