Dunno. I'm thinking a team with a former National Championship trophy sitting in their hallway, a brand new stadium (even if it only fits 4.5 or so thousand), in a newly upgraded conference, facing the #4 team in the country; is going to fill the stadium and expect their team to win their Superbowl game.

Maybe WSU being where it is currently can help revive even their program if we can get some more people interested in them again. I was joking and then I realized its probably true...

I think you give them more credit than reality will reflect. From the few home games I've seen from LUC (admittedly low sample size), the atmosphere has been - no kidding - JuCo level. They have to have one the smallest and least invested fan bases in D1.

I don't doubt it. But there's something about the Shockers that helps opponents sell tickets .... :)

No doubt about that. That impact has been something of awe.

One of the CBS guys named Matt Norlander just picked the Shocks to lose straight up tomorrow night. http://www.cbssports.com/collegebask...weekends-games

Well, if that does happen, just think how smart he thinks he will look. If it doesn't happen very few will care or remember. After all, who is Matt Norlander?

Would it be too much to ask for a cut of their gate? They could list it as a Shocker tax on the ticket.

No, they didn't. They picked UNI against the spread but not to win the game.

                            What was the spread?

A physician called into a radio show and said:

I believe Norlander made a friendly twitter wager that if WSU makes it to Selection Sunday unbeaten he will wear a bunny suit to the final four. I imagine he feels this one has to be the game or he'll start to sweat things a little bit.
