    WSU & 85,
    Appreciate the well wishes.
We have made the drive in tough weather a number of times. It seems to always hit when the Shocks are in town.

Not sure how well it will be attended by the ISUb faithful. Even back in the Michael Menser years, there was 5k at most in the place.

With WSU @ #4 in town, its a big unknown how many of them will venture out and fill the joint.

    That is all.
Above all, make the right call.

Yeah, I have started to wonder about the Terre Haute crowd. It sounds like it is sold out, but if there is bad weather...particularly REALLY bad weather...I wonder how many people will brave the elements and make it out.

Looks like the real bad weather there will be mainly on Tuesday and Tuesday night, with perhaps some lingering flurries into Wednesday morning. Any significant snow or sleet should be done falling by noon on Wednesday, with just cloudy skies but very cold temps Wednesday night.

NMSU was in the valley at one point? Did not know that.

Larry Bird is going to be in attendance, or at least, that's the plan. I wonder if Jackie Joyner-Kersey is going to be with him?

For whatever reason, I feel very good about this game. I think our players have had this road trip circled in the back of their minds for a long time, and may have been a little guilty of looking ahead this last week. There will be no overlooking ISUb on Wednesday. Everyone will be dialed in and amped for this matchup.

I will also add that, although the LUC and UE games were hardly pretty, we did succeed in getting the bench a lot of quality minutes. Nick looks increasingly comfortable and Saturday was one of Evan's best offensive games (not saying much, but hey...progress). Derail is no longer a liability, at least against mediocre MVC teams. We are inching closer to being a team that can go 9-10 deep without setting off a panic alarm instead of being limited to 7 or 8 options against quality opponents.

I would love to see us jump all over them early and not let up. Go Shockers.

@Rick_Sports10: Wichita State's #2/4 ranking makes them highest ranked opponent to ever visit Hulman Center.

According to ISU senior assistant AD John Sherman. #2 Wichita State @ ISU is not soldout, but ticket sales have been very good

They are having an email drive to let the trees read before the game so they know the fans have their back. Shouldn't they know that already being as it's a home game?!! Unreal this conference, the example they gave is from the movie "Miracle" which is what it will take lol

The last two games haven't exactly instilled a lot of confidence. Struggling for long periods against bottom tier teams (at home no less) will do that. If we win these two games, I'd almost bet my left pinkie we go undefeated the rest of the way. However, the odds tell me that going undefeated is such a rarity. We are bound to lose one somewhere along the way. This game makes sense that it would be the one.

We are tied for the 226th best 3 pt shooting team. Tied for the 169th best team in FG percentage, but we are top 100 in steals, blocks and rebounds. So, we can't hit the broad side of a barn but our defense gives us more chances to shoot bricks or make baskets. Extra possessions are winning us games.

I'm going to say that our inability to shoot well is going to cost us in this game. We'll end up getting out to a slow start again and ISUB won't be as accommodating with our comeback attempt.

While AZ drops one slot in the poll, we'll end up dropping out of the top 10.

We haven't been making shots lately, but all we have to do is look back at the NCAA Tourney to know that the shooting ability is there.

Pray for everyone else, once we rediscover our form.

Wichita State already cancelled classes tomorrow. Maybe the team should hop on the plane and get out of here before the snow starts....if they haven't already.

Exactly what I was thinking - get those kids the heck out of Dodge before the snow rolls in... They won't be missing class on Tuesday.

Indiana State has not lost at home this year. They are 8-0. UNI is 8-1 at home (and 1-8 on the road) with their only home loss to Indiana State this past week.

Indiana State has 5 players averaging between 11.0 and 12.3 PPG. Pretty nice balance. Despite this balance the team has played somewhat inconsistently over that last 7 games:
Sneaking by Bradley 62-59 at home.
Beating Missouri State 70-55 at home.
                                Losing 48-68 at Wichita State.
Sneaking by Loyola 65-61 at home.
Beating Illinois State 76-62 at home.
                                Losing 60-79 @ Southern Illinois.
Beating UNI 87-81 on the road.

Which Sycamore team will show up for the Shocks? My guess is we will get Indiana State's best shot.
