I love that we came back, but we have to stop these terrible starts. One of these days, we're going to be playing a D1 school that won't allow us to dig out like this.

I don't feel like we had an awful start so much as EU shot 100%! I'd say 75% were well guarded.

We also had some real WTF calls and no calls.

Shockers outscore EU 25-4, but need to learn not to start so slowly. Playing a good team will not be so easy to overcome such a deficit.

Honestly don't know. Our run was primarily after Evansville's starters got into foul trouble.

Going to be interesting to see how the second half starts off. Do we come out overconfident after the run to end the half? Does EU go back to shooting ridiculously once the starters are back in the game?

Not sure how much to credit the huge foul discrepency at this point. 16-5 foul disparity really helped fix a bad start from us and an incredible start from them. Took their big guys out of the game and we were able to tear apart their backups. But that's also what happens when you don't play a deep bench.

When we shoot 39.2% and our opponent shoots 52%, and we're tied for boards at 17 each, that's not a good half.

Their 10 TO's to our 3 has helped.
