  • WSU VS.LOYOLA PREDICTIONS AND PREGAME DISCUSSIONS

Here's the deal. The Ramblers just scored 93 points in an overtime victory over the Panthers as their KU transfer Milton Doyle scored 28 points according to the Wichita Eagle. Ya'll scart yet or must we go ahead and win #22 (11+11)? Coach Marshall did say he was not planning on this team scoring that many versus our beloved Shocks! Feel betta? Sleep well tonight because it is harder than pullin hen's teeth for a foe to beat us at 21st and Hillside. I remember many, many moons ago playing Loyola, so here we go again. We win #22 by 11.

    Freddie will be Ready---77 (11x7)

    Rambler Gamblers------66 (11x6)

      Comparative Stats from StatSheet

"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

The final margin of victory will be dependent on whether the subs can maintain the margin. Lately, whenever the walk-ons and others are in the game, we end up getting outscored about 10 points.

The Shox have blackjack but they ain't going bust with 22. Shockers will win and wait for the next ace in the hole.

Loyola has the second worst RPI (287) of any team we've faced all year.

I will see @shocksrbest:'s 22 point margin of victory and raise it by 11 :D

Only an 11 point margin of victory? Moooooohahahahaa!!!!!! These ain't your granddaddy's Loyola. These noobs are 1 and 7 in true road games (their lone road win against hapless SIU). They've lost to three teams with RPIs over 225. I guarantee you we will do our part to show these noobs what the Koch is all about. We'll win 84 to 59.

Loyola has been impressive at home. They are not playing at home.

                  Shocks - 80
                  Ramblers - 59

KC--I do like yourn prediction better than mine and understand the logic you presented and hope you are right. Either way, the win will make us 22-0 and 9-0 in the Valley. I am on this 11-kick right now. Winning is grand and I am liking what I see. Usually through the years, you have been the SN devil's advocate. What has gotten into you lately?

As far as I can tell the best any NCAA Div I team has done in the state of Kansas is 21-0 in the 96-97 season. That also, as best as I can tell, is the record for consecutive wins by an NCAA Div I team in the state of Kansas.

I predict that vs Loyola our Wichita State Shockers will go on to hold that record.

Wessel scores double digits and hits three 3s
                            Shockers lead at the half.

Doyle will get his, but that's about it.
