This is why HCGM is why, IMHO, going to be here for quite a while. He likes to win, and win a lot, but he also seems to relish being the slighted program. This drives him and WSU is a perfect place for his coaching style.

I was scolded by HawkAlum (mod) on phog.net, I said just ban me. He sent me a PM telling me I am never going to defend HCGM with any success on the KU Board. I am staying of the Hoops for a while, so much stupidity from the KU fan point of view on WSU and HCGM. I hope to hell we play them or at least make it to the elite 8. If we are successful this will send them over the edge. To those on this board who wish that HCGM was different or that he would change, I want to say that I like him just the way he is. I hope most people agree with me. He doesn't need to change a thing. He's a great coach and if you know him, a fine person. If you don't know him, that is their problem.Comment

I'll bet Bobby Knight would love HC3G's dislike of stupid questions. Bobby Knight's head would have exploded if a reporter ever asked him if he thought his team could compete with blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
