Pogo, I disagree. 34 and 3 both went out with several minutes remaining. Chatman and Brooks remained in the game, but if Jay Wright is going to hard press down 30then that to me is enough of a reason to keep a couple of his best ballhandlers in the game in order to get the ball up the court. Not defending "Daddy McD", or CU and hate them as much as anyone on this board, but I think the problem was much more on the Nova side than anything Creighton did last night.

+1 Also, don't take credit for sitting Wragge. That kid gets gassed more quickly than when I sprint up the stairs at the under 12 because my ManiacsAp updates me with a KrispyKreme like "hotnready" sign for the nachos. And yes, lil' Chewie did come out early, right after 4 straight plays for him getting 3s off (and it was IMPRESSIVE I might add) and getting to his average. Simply, if I coached a team and we were up plus 30+ and the opposing coach was going to go balls out with his starters, against my 2nd unit and likely my inferior ballhandlers,and slap on his hardest nastiest press in an attemt to close the margin of defeat, perhaps so the pollsters and the media would only see the score and not realize how much they actually got whipped, then he deserves whatever he gets. I was actually hoping Nova would lose by 70 and found it comical that a team that jumped us in the polls for no reason, took such a beatdown with a few hundred people watching. The score was 90-50 when G McD pulled some of his guys and the final was 96-68 so do you really think that he did not call off the dogs?

Maybe, just maybe your hatred for all things Creighton are clouding your opinions slightly on this matter?

I'm glad coach Marshall can recruit walkons that are good enough ball handlers that they can play against the pressure and not give up 30 point leads, much less 40 point leads.

Using your words "Not choosing to argue with either one of you" and then you restate your previous post that I disagreed with to again disagree with what I posted. We disagree that the Nova coach will just put this down as a loss and not remember the way in which the final score was arrived at. If I were the Nova coach and if the opportunity to rub ones face in it after being done the same way I would. You on the other hand think that he would just let it slide. You have a much more altruistic view of the world than I do. I do not have a hatred for all things from the school that shall remain nameless so I don't think my opinions have been clouded. You may disagree if you want and thank you for your concern.
