It was painful I went through the redbirds 27 pages of game threat. That is time I will never get back and am way dumber for my efforts. The hate for Marshall is extreme and most of the fans actually like the way the program is headed. They think Dan is the greatest and since he was recruiting Fred apparently that translates into him being able to recruit that kind of talent to ISU. However there were a couple of complimentary ISU fans that had some nice things to say. I cut and pasted some of those comments for you all.
I don't know if Wichita is a top 3 team, a top 6 team, or a top 12 team. But they are legit.....and can beat anyone in the country on any given night....especially at the round house. They could make many teams look bad. And they did just that. they made us look bad.
I think they compare fine with Kansas, Duke and Ohio St. I agree that Zona and Mich St are better (I'd also throw in Syracuse), on a neutral court I think WSU can run with them.
You're forgetting the went to the final four last year and are a better team than last year.

I was watching the replay of this game on ESPN3 and noticed a crazy play about which I had forgotten. It was with about 4:00 minutes left in the first half and Illinois State was on offense. Daishon Knight drove the lane and ran right into Darius Carter. He bounced off him like he hit a brick wall and crumpled to the floor. The gentleman sitting near me at the bar said "Did you see that?". It was awesome! DC=THE WALL :tennis:Comment
