First few mins will be interesting as the Shox work out the pressure back to zone....then it gets rolling. Carter responds to the critisism with a nice game, Cle does what he does and FVV....well what the heck is he going to do next?

Sounds like this game will be a little different than most anything we have seen this year. The Redbirds are starting 4 guards, pressing wth a 2-2-1 zone and falling back into a 2-3 zone. They have been pretty successful since they switched to that style going 7-2 including a win over then #25 Dayton.

Shocks will need to shoot the ball well from the perimeter and certainly better than the 34%/21% we shot against UNI.

The small lineup played by Illinois State will present some match-up challenges and some match-up opportunities. The game may boil down to which team can exploit their matchup advantages to the greatest degree.

I don't make outcome predictions primarily because I am so bad at it. This should be very interesting game in terms of game planning and execution.
