ISU fan here. It's very unlikely that we break out of the 2-3 zone. We only have 2 guys over 6'4" that play more than 2 min a game. We use that zone to keep them out of foul trouble.

Someone mentioned throwing alley-oops. We haven't seen many teams try that so I don't know if our zone is good enough to deny it or if teams just havent been athletic enough to try it. I'm curious to see what happens here.

So far, our zone has been pretty solid. There will be a lot of open 3 pt looks as I know your team moves the ball well. If you knock those down.......it will get real ugly.

I say we come out strong but can't hang for the last 10-15 min and lose by 12-15. I don't predict much for WSU/ISU fireworks we've seen lately because we only have 2 guys that suited up last year. No one else knows the history. I think it will be a clean game. I'd rather have the rivalry be about the on court battles. But, to be a rivalry, we need to win a few more!

I don't predict outcomes of games. I just know that the Redbirds have some talent. If they focus -- well you just never know. A focused team is dangerous. We should know because normally we are that focused team. And we really should put the past where it belongs -- the past. Grudges are crap and life is far too short for them. So here's to a clean game and to a Shocker victory (that is not a prediction, it is a wish).

I'm not sure it's been said since I haven't gone through the whole thread but the game is also going to be on ESPN3; I am under the impression that the Cox 22 games haven't been on ESPN3 this year so maybe they have picked them up again.
