Creighton has their head in the sand if they think they would beat WSU if they were in the MVC this year. Maybe they would...maybe they wouldn't.

FACT: The past four years when Creighton played WSU during the Regular Season....WICHITA STATE won 5 times and Creighton won 3 times. Hardly the domination they think they were or are.

They've been playing WSU's schedule for years and have never even come close to an undefeated season.

Meh. WSU had the harder nonconference schedule, and Creighton lost two neutral site games before the conference season even began. It's silly hometown radio babbling with no substance.

Creighton IS a very good team this year. I can see them deserving a #2 seed if they finish strong. They would have to go undefeated the rest of the way to even be in the conversation for a #1 seed, though. Creighton fans of all people should know going undefeated in the Valley would be a tremendous accomplishment since they've never done it. And no Creighton fan should be taking ANY NCAA tournament win for granted, considering they've never won two straight in the entire history of their basketball program. But I wish them the best regardless.

But now they are in the Big Bad Big East (BBBE) and not that lowly MVC. We know no team in the lowly MVC could ever match up with the BBBE. So of course they would be undefeated, look there would be no way they would lose to that A10 team St Louis, never mind that loss to the 4th place A10 team, a BBBE team would destroy St Louis.


A we all know that RPI 52 St Johns and RPI 62 Providence are both so much better than RPI 54 Indiana State that there is no way a BBBE CU would lose to them.

Never done it before, hah. All that recent history doesn't matter. They were in the MVC then, all that matters is that they are in the BBBE now.

It is just nice that when Fox Sports, etc. do their quick little teases on what is going on in the world of sports that the Shox get included. That kind of just assumed media coverage that is generally reserved for the blue blood only is really nice.

His talk with JB about pressure is dead on. WSU has been under pressure since game 1. A loss early and we sink in the polls and the luster comes off returning F4 team. A loss late it is to bad valley teams and blah blah blah. The margin of error is the same for the first 34 as it is for the last 6 so pressure stays the same. I like that these guys know they can't lose a game. Don't get me wrong -- I'll love 'em all the same. But they don't need to know that!

God I love how 3 different coaches picked 3 different players as the key player. I know that none of them forgot about Cotton (no coach that has to coach against him ever will; I'm sure he gives the scouting coaches nightmares) but in that article they just didn't have time to get to him really.

No wonder we've won all our games. If this is our biggest weakness, as seen by an actual D1 coach, I like our chances.
