It's one area our fan base could use some work... The responses say "we just hate ku" which is fine, but you don't have to use derogatory language to say it. Y'know? I would hope none of us would call them the n words...

Forgive me if I'm wrong (and I'll butt out after this post), but I don't believe he was calling you a narcissist. Seemed as if he was making a play on the "n word" by confusing it with narcissist.

I think he was just trying to be funny. Humor (more sophisticated types) will often lead you in one direction and then turn the whole situation towards a new and unforeseen direction. He took the obvious referral to the "N" word and used the word narcissist in it place. If course if you have to explain the humor then it loses the shock/surprise and is not as funny.

I think MoValley John's use of narcissistic was laced and dripping with sarcasm. At least that is how I took it.

This is a fan board for crying out load. Yes, some choose to utilize words and phrases that is usually saved for more private conversations. We can't cure the world of all perceived indiscretions on a fan board. Sometimes you just have to turn the other cheek, or just have tough skin. I, myself, am trying to work on that.

Slow down, it was a joke. Maybe poorly delivered. The term "the "N" word"was thrown out. With "N" being ambiguous, I simply inserted a word that started with "N" in the form of a question. It was to lighten the mood in a group of posts that looked to have the potential for escalation.

The word narcissistic was not used to describe you, Shocker fans or Jayhawk fans, it was simply a "N" word. I thought everybody would get the joke, if not, I'm terribly sorry.
