  • Here's another link I found with an image search of Oklahoma State cheerleader. Gotta say that's a fairly productive search.

    • Jimmy Dykes has given us multiple mentions during the KU-Baylor game. It's nice to hear this sort of thing during any game, but it gives me a warm fuzzy to hear it during a KU game.

      • How great is it that Texas trucked Kansas the other day and now they are down 22-20 against TCU at halftime...

        • My notification from CBS Jerry Palm today noted The Shockers have no contributing games today. I wonder how much the RPI, etc.will change from today to tomorrow?

              • Does Florida have a problem with fans rushing the court? Looks like they are penned in like cattle.

Look at his avatar. I think that he joined back when we played Cleveland State and has stuck around and cheers for the Shocks. He's always been pretty cool though.

I don't know how that's possible with Texas playing.

The entire state of Florida has a problem with poor decision making. I'm sure that something has happened and it's probably way worse than simply rushing the court.

Yeah, but. Mizzou is freaking awesome. So, struggling with them is expected. I mean Mizzou is shooting 43%. Any team would be down with that kind of barrage.

                            • SIU is wiping the floor with Drake in Des Moines. Any feelings of overachieving by the Bulldogs have pretty much been destroyed.

Meanwhile, the 300+ OOC RPI crew continues to steadily snipe away in conference play. Typical MVC.

Texas has a very, very small effect on our RPI. I know we share 2 common opponents with them, but when you take into account that we play Valley teams twice, any team on their schedule has a bigger "weight" than Texas. Then you look at the teams on our schedule; they play conference opponents twice, so those conference opponents have a bigger weight than Texas. It all turns into a jumbled mess so basically EVERY game contributes to our RPI, even if it's only a very small amount.

If you go to http://www.rpiforecast.com/teams/Wichita%20St..html and click "Fut Wgt" it sorts teams by their effect on our RPI. As you can see, Texas is insignifcant. Their effect on our RPI is the same amount that every Big East team has. Duke has a bigger effect on our RPI than Texas, just as an example of a team that you wouldn't necessarily associate our RPI with.
