  • Tennessee was a program reeling and few coaches would want the short 3-year lease you often get at schools like that in that situation, so CM was the kind of coach they could realistically get. In fact, several posters on here were surprised he would jump into this kind of trap.

        • One could have some fun on their board, if one were into that sort of thing.

Well, at least Frank as the nads to schedule them.

Everything to lose (including his job) Nothing to gain?

              • Never say never, but I don't see HC3GM leaving while Baker and Van Vleet are here. I just don't see him abandoning what could very well be the most awesome season of his career -- their senior year. I suppose that falls apart if he accidentally recruits a bunch of turds from here on out, but that just ain't gonna happen with the two assistant coaches we have.

Thanks, still, kind of getting the feeling now isn't the best time to rub it in.

You mean the Tennessee State that scored 61 on us and caused our entire season to crumble, and our top 10 ranking to tube in, right before our 11 and 0 eyes?

That's good I suppose, because we play Illinois State twice. :)
