"It's amazing to watch Ron slide into that open area, Fred will find him and it's straight cash homie."--HCGM

They cannot offer a fanbase that's at all excited about basketball, nor can they offer the throne of the athletic department and the keys to the City of Austin. At this point, HCGM leaves only for a blue blood--wait, he's already turned one of them down. Let me be more specific: a blue blood in North Carolina.

Last year they averaged 10,000+ during a very down year. Their arena will hold 16,000+ and his was filled most nights from 2001-2008 when they were finding themselves in the Sweet 16, Elite 8, and Final Four.
I am just a Texas fan this year.

A year ago today, Texas hosted North Carolina. Yes, Texas might have been down, so enthusiasm might not have picked up. Still though, Texas was playing NORTH CAROLINA, who was ranked #23 at the time. Wanna know the attendance for that game in that 16,000 seat venue?
Attendance: 13134
Turnstile - 10,141
Again, I'm not worried. I find it very hard to believe that Gregg would go somewhere that blatantly did not care about basketball.78-65
