I understand all the concerns. I am not happy either to be waiting on my Christmas gift either.

That said, I really don't think Dillons would be getting involved with selling this product. The difference between Play Angry DVD and Play Angry book is that WSU is the one selling the DVD, so I would imagine WSU will be the only place to get it. Now, maybe the DVDs could be sold in the bookstore or Shocker Locker, but I am not sure it would be sold at a non-WSU spot like Dillons. The Play Angry book was done by the Wichita Eagle, who obviously released the book to be sold at Dillons and other spots like that.

Again though, get the freaking DVDs to your customers. It shouldn't be taking this long. I have no problem with the DVD taking so long to make so that you have plenty of time to make a high-quality product. I'd rather wait until November for a GREAT DVD versus June for a rushed production that is lacking (like the Sweet 16 DVD was). However, if you advertise to sell on Black Friday, that should mean that the product is ready to ship immediately...or at least VERY close to that time. Sad thing is that nothing will be done to reward buyers for their wait...maybe like a free pizza coupon or something like that as a small token of thanks for the patience.

A few weeks ago, I talked to the person at the Bookstore/Shocker Locker that would be in the know and they said this was an Athletic Department thing and they had no plans on handling the DVD. Of course, things could change.

I'm also thinking this DVD is not just put out at cost for fan appreciation. It's a fund raiser. If Dillon's guarantees to buy X number for their stores, I'm sure WSU would see that they get a break on this cost so they would do this. insuring WSU of more guaranteed funds with no down cost exposure.

I'm just now looking at my credit card statement from Dec and Nov and had to call Chase (after looking through my emails for some kind of "order confirmation" email which didn't exist) and ask what the charge for $31 from "WSU INTERNET" was. I can't believe we're still waiting on this thing!!!

PS - Anybody else, like me, think that every time there's a new post in this thread it means that someone got theirs in the mail?!

after not getting mine under the tree, my wife was convinced she had accidentally threw away the package. After readin this thread, I am "relieved" it was just a delay. Hopefully we'll get them before this March Madness.

Shocker Locker/Bookstore have nothing to do with the DVD. They are not ran by the Athletic Department who is doing the DVD.

Ticket voucher would be nice. As a resident of IL I would love some passes to the MVC tourney, which is a much easier trip than Wichita, unfortunately. Just anything to show that they regret not fulfilling the orders in a timely manner.
