I am always ready to give someone the benefit of the doubt and don't get upset easily but if you are selling something and not just taking pre orders for something you should have some idea when that something is going to be available. If it is the supplier that is at fault I want to know and who it is so I can disparage them in my weaker moments.

Poor, poor, poor!!!
Total lack of communication to its fans. Contracts with manufactures should have penalties if dates are not met and the fans making the purchases should receive the discount. If WSU didn't have penalties in the contract, shame on them. If they did, and the fans don't receive a least a part of penalty for their wait, shame on the AD.
What will really chap my a*s after this wait, is if Dillon's gets a bunch of these at the same time we do and sells them for the same price, minus shipping.

I have no inside information, and am speaking out of my behind on this, but that'd be my guess as to what happens.
Also, after 4 months of mediocre sales, Dillons will have the DVD at half price.

I understand all the concerns. I am not happy either to be waiting on my Christmas gift either.
That said, I really don't think Dillons would be getting involved with selling this product. The difference between Play Angry DVD and Play Angry book is that WSU is the one selling the DVD, so I would imagine WSU will be the only place to get it. Now, maybe the DVDs could be sold in the bookstore or Shocker Locker, but I am not sure it would be sold at a non-WSU spot like Dillons. The Play Angry book was done by the Wichita Eagle, who obviously released the book to be sold at Dillons and other spots like that.
Again though, get the freaking DVDs to your customers. It shouldn't be taking this long. I have no problem with the DVD taking so long to make so that you have plenty of time to make a high-quality product. I'd rather wait until November for a GREAT DVD versus June for a rushed production that is lacking (like the Sweet 16 DVD was). However, if you advertise to sell on Black Friday, that should mean that the product is ready to ship immediately...or at least VERY close to that time. Sad thing is that nothing will be done to reward buyers for their wait...maybe like a free pizza coupon or something like that as a small token of thanks for the patience.78-65
