It says a lot that a school like Belmont was much happier to go to the OVC than to come and join the MVC. I wish we could get out of this conference right now and start playing with schools that are more our peers. Maybe the A-10 will lose some teams in the next couple of years and open its doors for us to come over there.
Oh. Dang. How ever will we get an at-large to the dance? I mean, if we lose ONE game, we are done. No use even playing the rest of the season. Tickets should go on a game by game basis. That way no one pays for games that won't be played. I mean, can you imagine us getting invited to the dance if we were to lose to SIU? Or Evansville? I mean, what if we lost to Evansville twice??? And even if we did, who would go watch us play in the tournament? We couldn't even begin to compete with ANYONE from the BIG EAST in the NCAA Tournament if we lost to SIU. I mean, Pittsburgh would OWN us.

We should drop our basketball program and just do bowling.
