The upshot is that those of us who were worried that coach might bolt for SC don't have to worry. Can you imagine the AD of SC announcing:
"Fresh from a last place finish in the MVC, I'm proud to announce our new coach, Gregg Marshall."
BTW - Coach's voice sounds like Super Dave Osborne on the radio.

I trust coach's ability to judge AND bring along Garrett's talent. He's not (dare I say it) Beasley in terms of athleticism, but he could be MORE of an asset for us as he actually stays for 4 years and like Paul Miller gets better and better each year.
I can't wait to see him play for us. He'll be fun to watch develop.
Remember, his 'promise' was that we'd be the best team in Kansas in his SECOND season (sophomore), not next season... ;-)Comment

Coach will put a competitive group on the floor next season. Better to play "his game" and see who will play his game, less they not be here to play "his game" next season.
