Okay, UNO would beat several Valley teams this year. I don't know a damn thing about them, other than they are 2-2, but their losses are respectable, on the road, and to what are supposed to be quality teams. I may just have to walk down to the Ralston Arena and catch a game. It's literally only two or three minutes on foot.

I'd have to stop at the Legion Hall for a couple of cold beers, so it might take me 15 minutes to get there. There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Marquette is losing 48-28 at home against #10 Ohio State w/4 minutes left. That is quite the crappy effort.
We might not move up in the polls on Monday because teams ahead of us are not losing, but man, Marquette might fall completely out of the rankings. Scoring < 40 at home with the new rules is serious futility on offense.

DePaul hanging tough with preseason Horizon favorite Wright State, trailing 52-50 w/13 minutes to go.
Loyola up 24-15 on the road against Tulane w/3 minutes left in the half.
Our SoS needs all the help it can get this year with the MVC being down and the CBE again doing us no favors. Come on Ramblers and Blue Demons.
