My two cents are that the what not to wear should point out those that wear other school logo's/colors to the arena. Also perhaps those that wear a flat billed ball cap. Especially a New York Yankee or Raiders cap. More thought needs to go into the hair one. Perhaps plant some students with outrageous hair and show them.

As I posted elsewhere, I am embarrassed for laughing at the crazy hair gig. There's plenty of students with intentionally crazy hair they should have singled out.Kung Wu say, man who read woman like book, prefer braille!

The what not to wear and "don't leave early" video were great and fun ideas. I do hope that they spend most of the time on Beaker and Kat clothes. The crazy hair was fun but the Final picture may have been poorly executed. I will say that the young lady next to her (I deducted it was the ladies daughter) was having a great time clapping and laughing at the segment. I hope that they try to be fun and creative and work on the execution.

There are plenty of willing and eager fans around the arena jumping up and down and dancing to be on the camera, why not go after those folks, rather than a random person in the crowd? Some people may just want to go to the game, and not want to deal with the social anxiety of being put on the big screen. I just think there are enough willing participants that they can show, than take a chance of running into an issue like they did with the crazy hair cam.

A good lesson in unintended consequences. Nothing is perfect and execution matters. I felt uncomfortable with the hair thing. I've never cared for the kiss cam but that's just me. But, what happens when somebody decides to put a gay couple on the kiss cam? It WILL happen...maybe not today, but it will happen. I would suspect some support might wane at that point. I don't know...personally, I'd rather see commercials and WSU videos and SASO thank yous, especially the SASO thank you videos, I love those. There's way too much interest in your "15 minutes" these days...WAY too much interest, imho.

I wasn't there at the game to witness this incident but my thoughts are that regardless of whether the people in the pictures were offended (probably not) it is not cool to be making fun of your own. If they continue showing crazy hair things and stuff like that, make sure that people in the pictures are the fans of the opposing team.

The "what not to wear" concept is fantastic if used to single out people showing up to a game at X school wearing Y gear. That's awesome!
The "crazy hair" concept is fine as well, as long as they stick to using the yellow WU hair overlay, and don't linger too long on any particular subject. The reason the crazy hair thing was in bad taste last Saturday was because while showing REAL crazy hair lady they were NOT using the overlay, and they dwelled on the poor thing far too long, as if to make her a spectacle. It was uncomfortable, and I felt really bad for her. Her hair however was all kinds of amazing - and not in a good way.
