The flip side of this coin is that if this lady is offended and happens to be related to Charles Koch you better expect the worst and hope for the best. However, there is always the chance that he had been wanting to tell this relative that her hair looked like the Eiffel Tower after a snow storm and this marketing promo got the message across without him having to be jerk to tell her. So you just never know.

No, it was done intentionally -- but I'm thinking by a camera guy that just didn't have direction and very good discretion.

People are so easily offended any more. Everyone takes themselves so seriously these days. What does it really matter what our hair looks like?

          This discussion is about hair?

Oooh, I thought it was about the negative character trait of making jokes at the expense of others.

I admit I laughed, but I kinda felt bad afterwards....
"Ralph Miller was one of the finest coaches in the history of intercollegiate basketball. His teams were always fundamentally sound, team oriented, well conditioned, and ran both their offense and defense with great patience. I know of no coach whose teams competed against his, whether it be at Wichita State, Iowa, or Oregon State, who did not have great respect for him."—John Wooden

I love to people watch and if you're going to leave the house in an attempt to make a statement be prepared for all possible reactions. When I show up at the games I know full well that I too may be a target of ribbing or discussion privately or publicly and if I can't handle that possibility maybe I should stay home.

Hair design is very superficial thing in my opinion. If you wear your hair like that woman and you like it that way than who the hell cares what other people think. If you're upset that people think it's funny than change it or don't attend. The choice is totally yours.

Nice "weigh-in." Never even occurred to me to look at it from this view point. I can't wait for the next edition of "Capitol Shock II...I bet You Didn't Think Of That."

This doesn't completely follow the topic at hand but on ESPN2 they just showed 2 elderly ladies drinking RockStar energy drinks and the announcer says "Wichita women sure know how to party" got a good laugh out of that one.

two tickets to WSU basketball after midnight - 110 dollars
watching two 70 year old women share an energy drink at said basketball game - priceless

I would suspect some support might wane at that point. I don't know...personally, I'd rather see commercials and WSU videos and SASO thank yous, especially the SASO thank you videos, I love those. There's way too much interest in your "15 minutes" these days...WAY too much interest, imho.

I thought they did a better job with both the what not to wear and hair can promos last night. Didn't have the awkwardness of the first go around and the wku fans that got hit had fun with it it seemed

Agree. The whole thing was done with alot more thought about who they showed. The other segment on what NOT to wear was great. The guy that was wearing a kwho pullover and then saw he was on raised it up to reveal a WSU shirt. My only question was why would he want to cover up his WSU shirt with some filthy rag?

He didn't want to get his WSU shirt dirty from nachos.
