On the flip side, they might try running more for the most part, but change the gameplan against WSU. They will know the best chance they have is to make the game ugly. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of teams do that next year, knowing it gives them the best chance to win. Not that they will be able to hold us down for the whole game.

they obviously don't know that wichita state will be stronger next season anyway. i would say evansville, especially, better duck and run for cover.

In regards to SIU, you guys do realize that they really only have one post player in Drinkard? Word is his knees are bad enough that he won't be able to log the 25+ minutes they would otherwise need from him.

If SIU finishes anywhere but last this year I'll be shocked. I can't find an updated roster on the Aces right now, but they seem a little thin to me as well. I like a couple of their guys but not sure they have enough in them, even with Marty as coach.

Personally, I'm considering moving Bradley ahead of UNI as well on my predictions. I just went through all the rosters and I think Ford has a pretty good group. Only Loyola and UE weren't up to date.

Indiana State will probably always be good as long as Lansing is there and I just don't see how teams like Drake or SIU will get out of Thurs.

I get that. At least Drake has a legit big man though.

I feel bad for Barry. We knew it was going to be hard work, but with Daniels leaving and Drinkard having issues, it's going to be an uphill battle yet again for him. He needs to hit some JUCO bigs for next year to give them some depth and size.
