Our expectations are so high right now so it's easy to take all this for granted but here it is the off season and espn is writing about wsu almost once a week or so! Hard to believe and I love it. Best off season ever!

As far as I can tell the only writer, ESPN or otherwise, that has truly done a deep dive on the Shockers is Jason King (ESPN). Everyone else pretty much recycles the standard information.
But the fact remains that Kadeem Coleby, Darius Carter and the other recruits (and even Evan Wessell) are going to have to show everyone that they are living up to OUR billing before the rest of the world starts singing the same tune.Kansas is Flat. The Earth is Not!!

King, being a KC guy, has a lot more knowledge of WSU and probably spends more time watching and reading up on us than anyone else. Katz and Gottlieb do alright when the season comes along, but King does tremendous work when it comes to talking us up and he knows what he's talking about.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

Carpenter Place - A blessing to many young girls/women
ICT S.O.S - Great local cause fighting against human trafficking
Wartick Insurance Agency - Saved me money with more coverage.

Great for Cle, but this is a real BS list. Based on their own criteria, how the hell can they include players who have never played a single college basketball game, on a top fifty college basketball players list. And Marshall Henderson. Are you kidding me. Henderson is nothing but a chucker. He's a lousy passer, doesn't play defense, argues with his coach, and does NOT make his team better. Henderson is an arrogant, self-absorbed little prack who epitimizes the disgusting; everybody look at me while I make a spectacle of myself; culture that seems so prevalent today. Henderson was nothing but a disruptive force for his team, and should never even sniff a top fifty list.
But hey, other than that, no complaints. :grumpy:"Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. He told me that if he tried to get his team ready to play me, it would upset his team the rest of the season." Gene Johnson, WU Basketball coach, 1928-1933.

Enough okay. This isn't on either of the brothers -- or their family. Each brother is responsible only for his own career. Nick and Andrew playing each other is not going to happen unless it is in post-season play, so can we just let this drop? KU has Andrew, we have Nick. Nick is a very good player in his own right but I think he just needs more confidence. It doesn't help that the brother he loves so much has much more hype going for him. As luck would have it (for him and for WSU), Nick seems well grounded and is happy for the success of his little brother.
