What, exactly, could come up that would make you miss possibly your biggest opportunity - career-wise? I'm not being a smart-a$$, just seriously wanting to know.

A calculated ploy at "playing hard to get?"
If you earn the elusive invite and everyone is making plans to come scout you, and then you don't come could that possibly raise interest in you?
If everyone would kill for the opportunity to be there except for Cle, does he perhaps have balls and confidence?
Then again, maybe it just didn't work out, but if someone asked me to come audition playing bass for a famous band, I would probably not skip it. I am not really following why he wouldn't be going but I'm sure there is a good reasonComment

...because I spoke with him on the 3rd, and he definitely could have gone to Vegas this weekend if he wanted. And that is without participating in some or all of the last day at KD Skills Academy. Nursing minor injuries. He told me multiple people with influence texted him wishing him well and also wishing that he was going to be in Vegas. He is on the radar. Very impressed with Cle. He could have used the camp as an opportunity to showboat and isolate himself from the team. His achievements in the tourney have prepped him for next season and he realizes what happens on the court usurps what happens in a camp. He is a guy of integrity and incredible talent.
