First step will be moving on to the Lebron James Skills Academy. Anyone remember how many from the KD Academy advance? Early looks to be in great shape for it so far.

        Ok back to Cleanthony.
I went looking myself but couldn't find the Pecher incident....link @Kung Wu:?

Well, I checked the rosters from last year ... 10 guys on the roster from the KD Skills Academy ended up being on the roster for the Lebron James Skills Academy. I'm too lazy to check the other two, but I'm assuming it was 5 from the point guard school, 10 from KD's, and 10 from the Big Man camp.

There were 19 guys at the KD Academy last year, and the same this year. Assuming the same proportion for a 20 man LJSA this year, I'd guess it'll be 4 PGs, 8 from KD, 8 big men. 8 from KD means Early should have a VERY good shot at advancing from the reports from the camp so far.

I'd imagine we'll find out soon ... KD academy ends today I believe, and the LJSA is next weekend.

Also of note from checking out the rosters ... Cleanthony measured in at 6'7" in shoes, not 6'8". That's likely to be more accurate than WSU's numbers.

seems to be moving that way. atm/shocker and ku/shocker and k-state/shocker will hate every minute of it.

lucklily, this isn't ufc, because atm, ku, and k-state would get knocked out cold. ***** teams.

Mike Dowler and I built a model rocket and didn't have a flipping clue how they worked, but we launched the first one without a glitch. Then the next shot we didn't have any wadding. We weren't sure what it was for so we just wadded up the instructions and stuffed 'em between the rocket and the parachute. That sucker lit up like the Challenger and came down as a fireball near Maple nearly setting the field next to Benton Elementary on fire. We ran over and stomped the hell out of it and hightailed it out of there laughing our asses off.

Tino Lettieri. I think he held the door so that Al Green (the trainer) couldn't get in. LMAO
I'm glad that Roy Turner & especially Lebaron Hollimon don't coach the Shox.

Bah I meant to post the link in this earlier post ... which makes no sense without it. LMAO

Here is the link with the Steve Pecher incident right at the very beginning and then the very next sequence shows Jeff Bourne being the cherry picker he was. Total coincidence that both of those just happen to show up in sequence in light of the discussion on this thread.

I feel bad for hijacking this thread so if a moderator wants to split it off and move it to Off Topic, I'd be much obliged.

I have a closet full of game worn jersey's from the 80's... The Wizard, Spiderman, Dowler, Stankovic, Piper, and more. When I was a kid I thought those games were as big as anything in the world. It was lightening in a bottle. A ton of guys who could play for a lot of teams found themselves in Wichita, freaking Kansas.

I can't believe we're having a soccer discussion in a thread about the most likely WSU player to go NBA since the X-Man.

If Early can get into the 1st round, there won't be a JuCo with NBA talent who won't want to play for Marshall. With the roster moves we're seeing right now, it looks like there may be 1 or 2 JuCo's on the Shox roster in future years. Marshall has moved most of his recruiting to the HS ranks.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Not only that its about soccer during the X-man era.

Is there any indication that Early will/won't get an invite to the Lebron James Skills Academy?

If you want to talk about a crappy sport like soccer, do it in the off topic forum....It's a bit disrespectful to one of our best players coming back.
