    Josh Young is the best player in the MVC;

How do you figure? He leads the league in Points per game but has played 4 less games to the guy in second. He is in the 61st in rebounding in the Valley. He is 29th in the Valley in Assists.

Possibilities for best player in the valley (all ranks in the Valley)

Eric Coleman- 10th in scoring, 1st in rebounding, 16th in assists, 4th in blocks

Randal Falker- 13th in scoring, 7th in rebounding, 31st in assists, 2nd in blocks

Jeremy Crouch- 2nd in scoring, 30th in rebounds, 12th in assists

P.J. Couisnard- 14th in scoring, 13th in rebounds, 16th in assists, 16th in blocks

There are also others but those are my main ones and Ruffin would definetly be on there if he wouldn't of gotten hurt. I don't believe Josh Young is the best player in the Valley.

CU should have this one by at least 20.

      mr. negativity once again.
How is that negative? We suck at Creighton even when we were good. It may be different with a new coach but not with the team we have this year.

Does this mean that losing by 20 or more points is postive?
Perhaps it's the poster's realistic viewpoint - not meant to be a postive or negative spin.

So everyone in a Shocker prediction thread is supposed to pick the Shockers to win each game? Is that how it works? Why do we even do the prediction threads then?

        So stooooopid.
it is what it is. dont talk to negatively about the people on this fantastic board, or you will be kicked off. true story my frirnd.
        ???

Who said I'm talking negative about people on this bored? I predicted a score for the game tomorrow and somehow you come up with that blab of fragments?

I guess trying to be realistic is considered 'being negative'.

KC Shox, please accept my apology over the last two years of giving you hell. I can't believe it has come to this. I can't believe the IQ of some of our fans. Nothing will ever cease to amaze me again on the board.. ever..

        ... No really, deuces.

Drake is undefeated in MVC play. While Cox is good, Young is the best player on the Drake team. He can hit from "anywhere." Was Paul Miller the BEST player in the Valley in 2006? ... Then Young must be the best MVC player this year. Right? ;-) :D

I don't have any idea what the score will be. But, I will predict that Stinnent will kick the ball so far that it will land in Rosenblatt...and he still won't get T'd up. Happy Groundhog Day.

Paul Miller had a lot better stats and was a lot more respectable to earn the best player in the Valley.

No kick this time around but he got away with one hell of a walk.

For the year P'allen is averaging 10pts 3 boards and 2 assists. 22 MPG.
                        10 Stinnett,P'Allen.... g 4-10 0-1 2-2 FT 10 points 3 1 1 2 27 minutes

P'Allen played the most minutes (27) of any Creighton player. PJ and Gal looked much better than P'Allen to me. (Yes, I know they are not freshmen.) I'm not going to worry about a particular player on the "other" team until he proves that we need to worry about him. The best guard on the Creighton team tonight was Cavel Witter, not P'Allen Stinnett.

As far as who is the best freshman in the Valley, I think it is still a race. The stats suggest that Sam Maniscalco, Pieter van Tongeren and P'Allen Stinnett could each make a case for freshman of the year. Bradley and Creighton are tied at 6-5 in the Valley. If the stats stay the way they are, I think Sam or P'Allen wins FOY depending on which player's team finishes higher in the Valley standings.

I never suggested he was the best freshman so I dont really care.

But P'Allen was not a factor in last nights game. Which to me is pretty surprising. considering the kid is very good.
