Something to keep in mind is that NCState may have been the _right_ school, but at the wrong time due to their athletic department leadership. Having a good boss is critical and the NCState situation was lousy at the time in that regard.

He would never go to Florida State. In fact, after this coming renegotiation, he'll probably be paid better than FSU pays Coach Hamilton, who is a very good and decorated coach. Wichita State is a better basketball job than Florida State, without question.

I could possibly see Florida being a threat, but Donovan is also young and he'd have to be stolen by a UNC to open up that job.
