From now on, can we start referring to Coach Marshall as "Smooth Daddy"? That was definitely the funniest part of the celebration to me tonight, along with Kung Fu Fighting.

Sorry for making this a terrible first post :tears_of_joy:

I thought the whole thing went well tonight. It was nice to be there surrounded by 4,000 of my closest friends. Each of the players received good ovations and this should be a time they will remember for the rest of their lives. Did anyone else notice DW moving gingerly up the steps and across the stage? He moved like a 75 year old man. And no I don't know who the blonde with the great figure was behind the screen and I hardly noticed her.

I didn't notice her either....in fact, I didn't notice her at every game, all season. Nope, not once did I notice that.

They dwelled on it just a bit too long, but it was funny. Nice touch!

She distracted from the celebration and I, for one, am not happy with her.

I agree with Royal. Five times (if I counted correctly) was a bit too much; I think 2-3 would have worked just as well, especially considering no Shocker play was shown more than twice. In some ways, though, the kick and the comeback against ISU was the turning point in our season.

Anyone know where Armstead was? The Eagle reported his absence was pro basketball related but didn't mention specifics.

                        This.

Attractive women are fantastic. I sure love the one I conned into signing a marriage contract. That said, attractive women who feel the need to draw attention to themselves - either directly or indirectly - should be avoided like the plague (write this down single dudes/bros/homies). They're good for looking at, and that's about it.

And I'm not referring to her clothing; I'm not Amish. I'm referring to her needlessly hanging out in the background, yet in full and obvious view of 4,000 people.

                              Very distracting.

Normally a good distracting but not for this event.
