I hope we talk this up, that people didn't want to play us. I remember a couple years ago, Boise's AD had an interview stating that they put out the offer to all Top 25 teams in football that they would come to their house and play, no home and home, just simply we come to you and play. They didn't get a single response from any of them. Our non-con is solid this year, but it's irritating when at the end of a season the people who decide seeds and selections say a schedule isn't strong enough, but don't consider that no one will sack up and play that team.

Football games tend to be scheduled years in advance, unlike basketball. Boise putting out an open challenge for the next year isn't very likely to turn into anything.

Florida State actually agreed to a home/home series with Boie State, but it won't be played until 2019/2020. We're only the third BCS program to go to Boise since at least 2002. Even two or three seasons out, we won't have more than one game to schedule -- our 2014 and 2015 schedules are already set, and we only need one game for 2016. That's pretty standard among football programs. Pretty big difference to basketball, where most programs are still picking up games a few months before the season starts.

But I did love Boise State calling everyone out the way they did.

So probably by process of elimination.

We are looking at Loyola games being on either home game on January 28/29th and probably the road game on Feb 18th/19th. (Guessing the 19th since there's a Sunday game that week)

It's too bad. I would have considered going if it was on a Saturday or Sunday.

Looking over those dates, it looks likely that the Shocks play Loyola in Wichita on January 28/29 and will play in Chicago on February 18/19. If it is the other way around that would mean that the Shocks have a three game road trip.

EDIT: Looks like EB 22 was a little quicker.
