That would probably be nice to have, although it would be even nicer to draw 6K to 7K for our VB matches and WBB games in Koch Arena. Yeah, I know that's a pipe dream especially for Wichita State.
I'll have to ask Lambo sometime what he would like such a facility. I'm pretty sure the WBB team would.
OTOH, D.J. Sokol Arena at Creighton, which seats about 3,000 cost $19 million in 2009 and the Rennaissance Center at Bradley, which seats about 4,200 and also houses the entire Bradley athletic department, was a $50 million project completed in 2010.
I don't see Wichita State spending anywhere near that kind of mony, and I am not sure you would need to, when Koch Arena is perfectly functional. But even $5M would be a lot to spend on those sports when you have a facility that works.

Schedule the basketball game, and let volleyball work around it, including a change of dates if necessary, instead of the other way around. Or would that be a Title IX violation?
If the basektball team has a quality opponent willing to do a home and home there are a lot of ways to work around conflicts including the possible use of IBA arena or swapping years.
I would think it would be much more common to have conflicts between the men's basketball team and the women's basketball team in scheduling then the volleyball team. Although I have no problem with a men's/women's DH especially on a weekend. In fact, those are not all that unusual.

There isn't much overlap with VB. The VB regular season ends on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Last year the VB team had 3 matches at home after the MBB season started. Two years ago they only had 2 matches at home after the MBB season started.
If the Shockers happened to host the Valley Volleyball Post-Season Tournament it starts with 2 matches on Thanksgiving day, 2 matches on Friday and the championship match on Saturday. I doubt they would move the championship match because that is usually televised, but you could certainly play a Men's BB game that Saturday evening.

... No really, deuces.

Am I missing anything?
Home: Charleston Southern, Western Kentucky, Oral Roberts, Buffalo/CBE1, CBE2, Davidson, Tennessee (Intrust)
Road: Tulsa
Neutral: 2 game combo BYU, DePaul, Texas (Kansas City)
Paul says 3 games are yet to be decided, but we don't know his starting point of reference. My list is 10, leaving 3 more openings, if my math is correct.
Still expecting a new major H/H if we can work out the scheduling issue apparently. Based on this article here I will be EXTREMELY disappointed if Doug Elgin can't make that come to fruition. If he comes through, that leaves 1 spot left, one would have to assume for a road game, no?
My (somewhat wild) assumptions would mean (adding 1 exhibition) a season ticket package of 17 home games, 1 Intrust game, 1 EASILY attended road game, 3 EASILY attended neutral court games and 1 yet to be named road tilt, ostensibly a big time match up.
To me at least, if all that ends up as fact (and I'll admit it's less than 50/50 at this point at least) then it's the best schedule I can remember and there is ample opportunity for the most frugal WSU fan to attend and SUPPORT multiple Shocker games.

Taking in all the comments, and again thanks to @tropicalshox: and @shocks771: for their efforts and fact gathering, it would appear that the WKU game is NOT a buy game per se and is an ESPN network game for their tip off marathon, so I would get yourself into a place where you're prepared for a non 7pm start time if I were you.
Certainly works for me.
I kind of forgot last year's VCU game was a part of the same event.
This question seems a bit off, in hindsight.
16. How far will Wichita State fall? The Rams’ opponent in the Tip-Off Marathon, Wichita State, is in a much different position. The Shockers won the Missouri Valley Conference last season, but the five seniors who anchored that team are gone. So Gregg Marshall’s squad is filled with youth this season. And the Rams’ in-your-face-defensive style could be a baptism by fire experience for the Shockers.

Not sure I want to leave our scheduling in the hands of KU.
