Maybe down the line I might come back and read this game thread. Pretty down right now.

However, I do want to thank Shockers for an absolutely wonderful season and thank them for an outstanding effort tonight against an outstanding Louisville team.

Sometimes the better team just wins, although I'm not sure that was the case tonight.

Hopefully, this will just make the returning players that much tougher and that much hungrier next year.

I just want to say what an unbelievable game the Shockers played. Great respect for your players and the heart they have. They never gave up and made Louisville look bad for about 30 of the 40 minutes. I'm a die hard Louisville fan but also a WSU fan. Great game to you all and great season. Good luck recruiting and I will most definitely try to see a home game of yours. Keep your heads up guys. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Great game Shockers! Tons of heart and you showed you were just as athletic as Louisville. Showed you belonged and are a program to be reckoned with!!!

It hurts now, but don't let the pain of tonights result take away from a great season and a great effort.

Here is the problem with that you may never get this chance again to be in a Final 4 it does not matter if your even better next year or not things fell perfect this year though I could be wrong like in 2010 when I said Butler will never get back to the Finals again and they did it in 2011 without Gordon.

Surprisingly, I'm not all that bummed out. Those guys laid it all on the floor tonite. Punched the biggest of the big boys right in the nose and stood toe to toe and did it again and again. L'ville players and coaches were classy, we were gracious in defeat. WSU was represented very well on the biggest of stages. Only thing I'm mildly down about, is that next season is a LONG ways away.
