I think that the key there is him being on the roster. He didn't play, but he could have.

I think he could apply for a 6th year due to not being even on campus yet.

This would be no different than chainging your mind and going to a prep school. They dont count that so how in the world would they count this.

Again, if you change your mind you never step foot on campus, you're not on the roster, and you're not in the program with a photoshop picture.
